Police are searching for three men after one allegedly grabbed her in Peoria Thursday morning.

A 15-year-old girl was walking to school near 75th and Cinnabar avenues around 6:30 a.m. when she saw three men jogging towards her, a police spokesperson said.

As the girl continued walking, she alleged that one of the men approached her from behind, grabbed her shoulder and said, “Come on, let’s go."

After a brief struggle the girl was able to get away and immediately returned home where police were notified of the incident, officials said.

The girl was taken to the hospital and received treatment for a minor injury, authorities said. She has since been released.

The suspect is described as being in his 60s, Hispanic, about 5’6” with a “husky build.” He has thinning hair on the top of his head and medium length brown hair on the sides. He has brown eyes and short facial hair.

Authorities say it’s unknown what the suspect’s intentions were but police are continuing to search for him. Additionally, they’ve stepped up patrols in the area.
