Peoria Police say a 24-year-old man was reported missing on Thursday and he may be in trouble.
Darien Leyva was last seen around 8 p.m. near 67th Avenue and Cactus Road after making suicidal statements to family. After that, he did not return home and has not been seen since.
Police don't know where he may be headed, whether he's alone, on foot or was picked up by someone else.
Leyva is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 190 pounds and has shoulder-length brown hair. He also has hazel eyes, a tattoo of an octopus on his left calf and a goatee. When he disappeared, he was wearing grey sweatpants and a blue shirt.
