Officials are investigating after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in Peoria.
The crash happened just before 11:00 p.m. on Sunday at 87th Avenue and Grand.
Peoria police said a truck was making a u-turn when a car hit the back of the truck. A motorcyclist driving in the area ended up hitting the back of the car.
The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car was taken to Peoria police for possible DUI.
Grand Avenue was closed but has since reopened.
