Maricopa County Sheriff's Office says a pick-up truck driver was taken to the hospital after smashing into the back of a school bus in Litchfield Park.
A Silverado rear-ended the school bus near Olive and 143rd avenues, prompting temporary detours in the area.
Eight students were reportedly on the bus at the time of the crash, but none were injured. A school official says three were taken to the hospital just as a precaution.
The driver of the truck suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The bus was reportedly stopped to pick up students when the truck rear-ended it.
