A small plane crash landed in a field near Goodyear airport on Thursday morning.

Air15 showed multiple emergency personnel near MC 85 and Estrella Parkway around 7:30 a.m.

The plane is associated with CTC Aviation and their pilot training program at Goodyear Airport. Goodyear fire said the pilot was the only person on board and was able to get out of the plane without any serious injuries.

Fire officials say the pilot is okay and refusing a medical evaluation. Crews worked to secure a small fuel leak from the plane.

Goodyear fire says the Federal Aviation Administration is en route to the incident. A no fly zone in the area of the downed plane has been established as officials investigate.

The investigation is being turned over to the National Transportation Safety Board.

Authorities say MC 85 between Sarival Avenue and Estrella Parkway is restricted. Motorists should expect delays.
