A woman is dead following an overnight apartment fire in Glendale.
The incident happened around 2 a.m. on Thursday in the area of 55th Avenue and Camelback Road.
Glendale Fire responded to the scene and worked to contain the fire but inside they found an adult female deceased inside the fire involved unit.
Glendale police are investigating the death.
