Police are investigating an armed robbery in the West Valley.
The armed robbery happened shortly before 2 a.m. on Tuesday at a Walmart near 95th Avenue and Camelback Road in Glendale.
According to Glendale police, a suspect approached a woman at Walmart at gunpoint. She fought back and kept her purse, but the suspect pointed a gun at her before he fled in a black SUV.
A police helicopter followed a similar vehicle in the area and after a short pursuit, police conducted a traffic stop. The people in the car were found to not be involved in the reported armed robbery.
Police say the suspect is still at large and the investigation is ongoing.
