Glendale Police Sergeant Robert "Kent" Livingston, shot by a suspect earlier in March, has been released once again from a local hospital after being re-admitted just over a week ago.

Livingston was shot near 43rd Avenue and Olive by a suspect with multiple warrants that police were attempting to take into custody.

The suspect fled the scene on foot but officials were able to track him down where more shots were fired, involving Phoenix officers.

Officials say the suspect, identified as 44-year-old Stephen Hudak, was shot and killed in the altercation.
