Police say a truck trying to flee the scene of a crash wound up slamming into a wall.
According to a Glendale Police Department spokeswoman, a car and truck crashed near 67th and Glendale avenues on Saturday night.
The driver of the truck took off from the scene and crashed into a block wall nearby. A picture from the scene showed the truck crashed through part of a wall surrounding the back yard of a home.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries from the initial collision, Officer Tiffany Smith said. The driver of the truck was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators had not determined if impairment or speed played a role in the crashes as of Saturday evening.
Officer Smith said all vehicles involved had been located.
