Glendale police investigated a suspicious package found near 59th and Northern avenues on Monday.
Officials said the package was discovered just after 5 p.m. at an apartment complex on Laurie Lane. A bomb squad responded to the scene and said the package was a plastic tube filled with gasoline.
The apartment complex was not evacuated.
