Police in Glendale are investigating the shooting of a man, who was seriously injured, on Monday night shortly after 8 p.m.
The incident happened near 59th Avenue and Union Hills Drive.
Police say a man called them informing them he had been shot; at the same time, another man called police informing them that he had just shot someone after he had been threatened.
Police say the shooter was still in the area of the shooting and did meet up with police; the victim who was shot fled the scene, but he was later located at a hospital.
Police say the man had serious injuries.
