Police have made an arrest in connection with a deadly crash in Glendale.

According to the Glendale Police Department, a pickup truck and a motorcycle crashed around 2 a.m. at the intersection of 45th Avenue and Camelback Road.

Investigators determined the motorcycle was heading east on Camelback when it was hit by the pickup, which was traveling north on 45th Avenue and didn't stop at the stop sign.

The crash caused the truck to flip on its side.

The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police later identified him as 53-year-old Terry Douglas.

The pickup driver, 38-year-old Roberto Villegas, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was hospitalized. Police said he showed signs of impairment.

Villegas was arrested after being discharged from the hospital and police said he faces charges of manslaughter and causing death while driving on a suspended license, both felonies.
