A 19-year-old Avondale man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 16-year-old in Glendale last weekend.
According to Glendale Police Department, Aaron Ott was taken into custody on Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators reportedly found him after he was captured fleeing in a car on multiple residential surveillance cameras after the April 17th homicide.
Officers first responded to the area near 65th Avenue and West Mountain View Road around 5 p.m. that Sunday. The victim was found with a gunshot wound in a driveway and later died at the hospital.
Investigators learned that the shooting appeared to have happened during a robbery that occurred while the victim was selling a gaming console he arranged online.
Police say Ott has been charged with the shooting death of the victim.
