A substitute teacher was arrested and is behind bars after being accused of inappropriately touching two students.

According to the Buckeye Police Department, Brian Scritchfield, 28, touched two female students, ages 12 and 13.

Police say on August 11, the Litchfield Park man was a substitute teacher at the Westpark Elementary School; school officials were approached by the two female students who said the man had inappropriately contacted them.

One of the students said the man had touched her genitals and both said the man had touched their neck, back and hair.

Police say the man was employed by a temporary agency, which was contracted to work with the school district.

He faces one count of child molestation and two counts of aggravated assault on a minor.

Anyone with additional information regarding this incident or the man are encouraged to call (623) 349-6400.
