Police: Man allegedly kill man in Phoenix over fight involving stolen property

Phoenix police say a man is accused of killing another man over a dispute involving stolen property.

King Sandoval, 37, was arrested on Wednesday evening in connection to a shooting over the weekend near the 3330 block of West Buckeye Road.

When officers arrived at the area, 29-year-old Jonathan Cordova was found on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound, officials said. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

During the investigation police questioned Sandoval. Authorities learned that the pair got into an argument over stolen property, police said.

Days later, Sandoval was arrested harged with first-degree murder.

No additional information was released.
