A suspect is at large after an attempted kidnapping in Buckeye, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
MCSO said they received a report that a 10-year-old boy was grabbed by a man near Elliot and Tuthill roads Monday morning.
The boy was able to get away, according to officials, and the suspect fled from the scene.
Helicopter and canine units responded and detained a person of interest who was caught in a residential burglary close to where the attempted kidnapping happened. However, they later determined this individual was not connected to the attempted kidnapping.

MCSO is looking for a dark haired Caucasian man who has a tattoo on his right forearm. He was last seen wearing a dark colored shirt.
