TONOPAH, AZ — Authorities say a 17-year-old boy has been arrested for kidnapping a 15-year-old girl.
Maricopa County deputies responded to the TA truck stop near I-10 and 339th Avenue around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Investigators determined the girl was the victim of kidnapping and arrested the 17-year-old.
He will be booked into juvenile detention and face charges of aggravated assault, kidnapping and sexual assault, according the sheriff's office.
Further details were not immediately available. MCSO said the investigation is ongoing.
