The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office MASH Unit is now accepting applications to adopt 120 pugs that were rescued from a puppy mill in Tonopah last month.

The dogs will be available to take home once they are medically cleared.

If you’re looking for a new furry friend, fill out the new cat/dog adoption contract and the cat/dog adoption questionnaire at www.mcso.org/Mash and send it here:

ATTN: MASH Unit
201 S. 4th Ave
Phoenix, AZ 85003

The application must be received by the MASH Unit by Dec. 21.

The pups are in high demand, and the MASH Unit has already received 5,000 emails -- the staff will determine who gets to adopt the dogs.

If you aren’t one of the lucky ones, don’t worry. There are more than 100 other pets up for adoption.

None of the French Bulldogs that were rescued will be available.

Charges are currently pending against the owners of the puppy mill.
