AVONDALE, AZ — A 25-year-old is dead after being struck by a car in Avondale early Saturday morning.
Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies were called to the scene near 107th Avenue and Buckeye Road around 5:36 a.m.
Deputies tell ABC15, the driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and is cooperating with investigators.
At this time, impairment and speed are not factors and no citations have been issued.
The victim is not being identified at this time.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
