Police are releasing the name of a man who is dead after a shooting in Avondale Saturday morning.
Police say just before 6:15 a.m. they responded to a shots fired call near South Central Avenue and East Davis Lane.
As officers arrived, they located 27-year-old Julio Cesar Garcia with an apparent gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead.
Police say the location and description of the suspect is not known at the time.
