Officials in Tempe have arrested a woman who they believe was involved in a hit-and-run crash that happened in August.
According to the Tempe Police Department, Renee Jeanne Scozzari, 45, was taken into custody on September 14.
The collision happened shortly after 8 a.m. on August 23.
Police believe the woman was traveling in a silver Toyota Tacoma southbound on Rural Road at the U.S. 60 lane. She then caused a collision with a vehicle that was exiting the eastbound off ramp, police said. The vehicle had a green light while Scozzari ran a red light.
She faces charges of hit-and-run, possession of narcotic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
