Three people, including two children and one adult, were injured in a five vehicle crash in Tempe.
According to the Tempe Police Department, a collision on eastbound Rio Salado Parkway and northbound Price Road sent three people to a county hospital shortly after 11 a.m.
Police said they have closed down the roadways and traffic is being restricted as they investigate the crash. Investigators remained on the scene until 4:15 p.m., when the road was reopened to traffic.
Authorities said two of the three people taken to the hospital were in serious condition.
No other information was immediately available.
