Police have identified a woman who was killed after the motor scooter she was riding on was run over by a semi-truck Monday night.
Police say 43-year-old Jennifer Przgocki was pronounced deceased on scene after the collision near 23rd Street and Hardy Drive. The person driving the motor scooter was not injured.
Authorities say the semi-truck was backing up to allow another truck to make a turn when it collided with the scooter.
The driver of the semi-truck stayed on scene and was cited for unsafe backing.
