TEMPE, AZ — A man has died after a crash in south Tempe on Saturday night.
According to police, the crash happened on Baseline Road near Interstate 10 around 8 p.m.
Police say a passenger car traveling eastbound on Baseline Road crossed over the center line and collided with a truck traveling westbound on Baseline Road.
Officers say the driver of the passenger car was a man in his late 70's. He was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
The passenger in his vehicle, as well as a passenger in the truck, were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities say impairment does not appear to be a factor.
The victims are not being identified at this time.
