They're some of the hottest places around when the temperature rises. Splash pads are fun for kids, and for pets! The city of Tempe wants to know if it should create more.

They’re asking residents to fill out an online survey that breaks down the difference of a spray pad, splash pad, or civic park and also maps out city parks prime for a water feature.

The city even has a couple large dog parks that could be considered for a pet splash pad.

If enough people weigh in from any given area the city will get to work on finding the funding. You have until May 16th to fill out the survey.

Tempe’s newest place to splash around will open at Kiwanis Park next summer.
