Tempe officials are investigating a reported electrical fire at ASU Gammage Friday morning.
A spokesperson for Tempe Fire said an employees reported hearing a loud bang and then smoke at the theater and students in the nearby dorms reported smelling gas in their rooms.
ASU maintenance is looking into the students' claims to try and try and find source of smell, according to Tempe Fire.

Firefighters searched ASU Gammage, but never found a fire, only a slight odor within an electrical vault.
Shortly after 4:30 a.m., ASU sent out an alert that the situation was clear.
Around 10 a.m., power still remained out at ASU Gammage, according to the University, but a generator was going to be brought in.
The Broadway tour for "A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder" is currently scheduled to perform Friday night. A spokesperson said the theater does not expect the performance to be affected.
