The Sky Harbor Airport Rental Car Center has been reopened after police evacuated the area to investigate a "suspicious vehicle".
Police received reports around 5 p.m. Friday that the car had been left at Sky Harbor's rental facility, just west of the airport.
According to Sgt. Mercedes Fortune, officers reported to the scene and conducted precautionary evacuations around the area.
Just after 7 p.m., Sky Harbor Airport officials said the rental center had been reopened.
The incident did not affect flights at the airport or its operations.
