TEMPE, AZ — A man is in the hospital after being found shot several times at a Tempe apartment complex Monday night.
Officers were called to the scene near Apache Road and Rural Road around 9:45 p.m.
When police arrived, they found the victim with at least two gunshot wounds.
Authorities tell ABC15, the victim and the suspect were involved in some sort of dispute which led to a fight in the hallway outside of an apartment.
The victim allegedly swung at the suspect at which time the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim multiple times and left the scene. He was transported to the hospital in critical, but stable condition.
The victim has not been identified. There is no suspect description at this time. Police say impairment may have played a part in the shooting.
