TEMPE, AZ — A Maricopa County Sheriff’s Deputy has been arrested Thursday for stalking employees of the Tempe Police Department and the City of Tempe.

In a statement by the City of Tempe, MCSO deputy Salvador Cuevas was arrested after an investigation into a domestic violence situation involving City of Tempe employee.

Officials say the City of Tempe employee was a victim to the domestic violence and they feared for their safety as well as the safety of the Tempe Police Department, after "continual violent threats and harassment."

During the investigation, detectives also learned that the other victim was a Tempe Police employee.

The US Marshalls Task Force and the Tempe Police Department arrested Cuevas in the town of Maricopa Thursday.

Cuevas has been booked on stalking, and domestic violence charges and additional charges may be pending with the Gilbert Police Department.
