A brush fire that sparked Thursday night in Tempe is under control, according to a fire official.
A spokesman for the Tempe Fire Department said the fire was located in "heavy desert vegetation" near College Avenue and Curry Road and is not threatening any nearby structures.
Firefighters do not expect it to spread any further.
The cause of the fire and where it originated was not immediately available.
ABC15 reporter Navideh Forghani was in the area and captured video of the flames.
