Police say one person died after a crash in Tempe late Friday morning.
A passenger car driving westbound turning left into a private drive failed to yield to traffic and a van collided with the passenger side of the car.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital where they died, according to police.
The van driver suffered non-life threatening injuries.
