The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office was able to take a barricaded suspect into custody without incident Wednesday night.

Deputies temporarily shut down Ocotillo Road from Ellsworth Loop to Hawes Road while the SWAT team worked to get the man out of a house.

Officials said the suspect, who may have violated his probation, showed a weapon through a window of a home and refused to come outside. No shots were fired, and no one else was home at the time. Alcohol may also be a factor, deputies said.
