The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that happened Sunday morning in Queen Creek.
Witnesses say the driver of a Chrysler 300 ran a red light while traveling on Ocotillo Road when it crashed into a Chrysler Concord traveling on Ellsworth Loop.
According to MCSO, the driver of the 300 is a 50-year-old woman from Gilbert. She was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The male driver of the Concord is believed to be in his 30’s. His injuries are currently unknown.
MCSO believe speed may have been a factor in the crash.
Roads in the area will be closed for the next several hours, expect delays.
