MESA, AZ — A woman is being treated at a hospital after hurting her ankle Saturday morning while hiking in east Mesa.
Mesa Fire and Medical Department crews located the 30-year-old woman who hurt her ankle and was unable to walk down the mountain herself.
Firefighters carried her down in what's called a stokes basket.
She was taken to a hospital to get checked out and is expected to be okay.
