On Saturday, May 12, police were called to the area of Lindsay and McKellips roads after receiving reports of a car crash.

According to Mesa Police, a Chevrolet Silverado was heading northbound on Lindsay Road when the driver attempted to turn left and hit a motorcyclist traveling southbound between McKellips and McDowell roads.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and the driver left the scene.

The suspect was driving a light-colored truck between the years of 2007 and 2013. It’s an extended or crew cab with front bumper damage, officials said.
