Two boys who went missing after leaving their Mesa apartment Tuesday morning have been found safe, according to Mesa police.
Spokesman Steve Berry said 10-year-old Damarion and 8-year-old Jailen Redd left their home near University Drive and Gilbert Road on foot, bringing electronics and stuffed animals with them.
Officials were concerned for the boys' safety in part due to Damarion's medical conditions.
Around 7:30 p.m., Berry said the boys had been located.
