Authorities are asking for the public’s help finding a man who "groped" a woman in Mesa.
On March 22, a woman called police after an Asian man inappropriately touched her over her clothing in the area of Loop 101 and Baseline Road.
The woman told officers that the man asked if she wanted to be “friends with benefits” before she struck him on the arm and he fled on a longboard, police said.
During the investigation, multiple residents of the area reported seeing someone matching the description often riding a skateboard in the area.
The suspect is described as being in his mid-20s, about 5’7”, 160-pounds with black hair, brown eyes, clear or silver glasses and a goatee. At the time of the incident, he was wearing dark cargo shorts, a dark hooded sweatshirt and was riding a longboard.
