One woman is dead and another person injured following a crash in east Mesa Monday night.
According to Mesa police officials, two vehicles were involved in a crash near Sossaman Road and Southern Avenue. The crash left a 30-year-old woman dead, fire officials say.
Police do not believe impairment was a factor in this crash and advised drivers to avoid the area while officers investigated.
