The sister of Mesa man killed by in a hit-and-run says they are desperate to find the driver who hit him.
"If they had stopped my brother would probably still be here," said Joshawna Hawkins.
Hawkin's brother William Hawkins Jr. was killed on March 6 while walking near the intersection of Alma School Road and University Drive in Mesa.
Police say the car is a white Volvo station wagon.
Hawkins says her 28-year-old brother was like a twin to her. The two grew up together near White River and shared a love of cooking and music.
"I felt like I got cheated out of some of the memories that me and him were supposed to have growing up together," said Hawkins.
