A Mesa man is learning his fate after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography.
Robert Carlos Lopez, 30, was sentenced on Wednesday to seven months behind bars.
The sentencing comes after Lopez was allegedly found with four pictures and nearly 300 child pornography videos, the U.S. Attorney General’s Office said.
The investigation stems from the Project Safe Childhood efforts. The initiative launched in May 2006 and aims to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.
