The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man and woman in their 20's were shot in Mesa Monday night.
MCSO says the female victim has died, the man remains in critical condition at the hospital.
The incident was reported just after 11:30 p.m near Crismon Road and Main Street.
Officials say there is information that the shooting was a drive-by that happened in the front yard.
It's unclear whether this was a gang related incident or if the suspect(s) and victims knew each other.
Suspect(s) in the shooting are still at large at this time, according to MCSO.
