A 56-year-old Apache Junction man has been arrested in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash in Mesa last week.
Robert Hutson was taken into custody Thursday at his home near Delaware and Southern.
Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies say an anonymous tip led them to Hutson.
Officials say when investigators searched his home, they found evidence linking him to the crime.
Hutson is facing felony charges of failing to stay at the scene of an accident with injury and tampering with evidence.
Deputies say Hutson also has a past hit and run charge out of Mesa in 2002 and multiple prior impaired driving charges.
The name of the victim has not been released.
