A man has died after he was struck by a car in the southeast Valley Thursday evening.
A Maricopa County Sheriff's Office spokesperson said the 30-year-old pedestrian was hit by an 18-year-old woman in a sedan near Broadway and Ellsworth roads.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he later died, MCSO reported Friday. His identity is currently unknown.
Officials say impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash and detectives are still investigating.
