Mesa police are still asking the public for any information after a father of three was found shot and killed over a year ago.

Police say on the morning of June 26, 2016, they responded to a motel near Main Street and Alma School Road for a welfare check call. As officers arrived, they found Joshua Aguilera lying face down with an apparent gunshot wound.

Aguilera had worked in Mesa at Peddler's Son Produce, according to police.

After the gunshots were heard, two Hispanic men in their 30's were reportedly seen leaving the area.

One of the men seen leaving the area was described as 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with long, dark hair in a ponytail.

Police have put together a composite sketch of this man in hopes that someone may recognize this potential suspect.

If you have any information on the identity of the man in this sketch or this crime, you are asked to call Mesa police at 480-644-2211 or Silent Witness at 480-Witness.
