Officials are investigating a murder-suicide in Gilbert.
According to Gilbert police, officers responded to a house near Cooper and Warner roads on Monday morning for a welfare check.
When police arrived on the scene, they found two bodies who had apparent gunshot wounds.
Police have identified the individuals as 55-year-old James Gibson and 41-year-old Rosa Rubio.
Gibson and Rubio were dating each other.
Police believe Gibson shot Rubio before taking his life.
