The Gilbert Fire Department rescued a construction worker Thursday morning who had fallen off a ladder. The man injured his back and was stuck on the second story of an apartment complex roof.
The complex was under construction near Ray Road and Coronado Avenue. Firefighters say the man fell six to eight feet and landed on his back. The worker was transported to a local trauma center with non-life threatening injuries.
