GILBERT, AZ — Firefighters say a child has been pulled from a pool in Gilbert and taken to the hospital.
According to the Gilbert Fire Department, crews responded to a home near Val Vista Drive and Ray Road Wednesday afternoon after a child was pulled from a pool.
The child was reportedly unconscious but firefighters say the child had a pulse when transported to the hospital.
The exact age of the child has not been released, but firefighters said it was a “pediatric” call.
Circumstances around how the child got into the pool have not been released.
