Police in Chandler have two individuals in custody after they reportedly shot at a home on Saturday from a vehicle and fled.

According to the Chandler Police Department, officials are investigating a shooting that happened in the area of Pecos and Cooper roads after being informed of shots fired at a home.

Police originally said they were seeking three individuals who were possibly driving a gold colored sedan and fired shots at a residence and then fled the area. However, Seth Tyler with the department said they no longer believe three individuals were involved, just two.

Both suspects were taken into custody, and no victims have come forward.

Police said the two suspects tried to flee and hit a parked car in the area.

Police also told ABC15 the duo tried to break into a house to escape.

Officials said this was not an isolated or random incident. However, "there is no cause for concern regarding the public's safety stemming from this incident," Chandler police said.
