CHANDLER — The Chandler Police Department is investigating a deadly collision involving a semi-truck and a pedestrian that occurred near Hamilton Street and Ray Road Wednesday morning.
According to Chandler police, officers responded to the intersection around 6 a.m. for reports of a crash.
When first responders arrived, they discovered a woman had been hit by a semi-truck.
The woman, identified as 38-year-old Maria Armendariz, was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead, police say.
