A motorcyclist who was traveling eastbound on Warner Road near Bullmoose Drive in Chandler has passed away, police say.

According to the Chandler Police Department, a vehicle and motorcycle collided Friday night. Speed may have played a role in the serious accident. They don't believe impairment played a role in the collision at this time.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but according to police on Saturday morning, the individual died from injuries.
The victim's name has not yet been released.
